Growing up in a coastal community, Michael Jakubas developed a love for the outdoors and a deep understanding of how to care for vehicles in harsh coastal conditions. He spent much of his time fishing, learning about the elements, and understanding how salt air and sea spray could affect cars. This background gave him a passion for preserving vehicles, which he later brought into his business.

Since founding Flamingo Cove Car Wash on April 8th 2024, Michael has been the heart and soul of the operation. His expertise in motivating others and coaching is evident in how his “flamboyance” of employees has grown into an amazing flock. He thrives on watching individuals find their roles and grow within the company, while also encouraging them to better their personal lives.

Having traveled the world, Michael brings a wealth of life experiences that shape his unique approach to leadership. Outside of work, he loves cooking, fishing, and entrepreneurship!

Michael believes that customer service is what sets Flamingo Cove apart: “In today’s world, customer service is often overlooked!” We strive to offer the best Customer Service to everyone that visits our car wash. His favorite service is the VIP Treatment, designed to protect vehicles from the coastal environment and keep them looking brand new.

Motivated by making others’ lives better, Michael encourages customers to visit at least twice a month to maintain their vehicles in top condition. He is grateful for all those who support Flamingo Cove Car Wash, knowing that without them, the business wouldn’t flourish.

Destiny Gerard has been the Manager at Flamingo Cove Car Wash since DAY 1, and her favorite part of the job is seeing and hearing how happy customers are with the way their cars look after a wash. Her expertise lies in Customer Service and Detailing, and she plays a key role in keeping the team organized and focused on delivering the best service possible.

Outside of work, Destiny enjoys spending time with her kids, cooking, and relaxing while watching TV. On her days off, she loves hanging out with family and friends.

Destiny believes that customer service is vital to a car wash’s success because it’s the experience that brings customers back. Her favorite service is the Showroom Shine, as it leaves vehicles looking like they just rolled off the lot. What motivates her to do her best every day is the satisfaction of seeing happy customers drive away.

Joey Cruz has been part of the Sales team at Flamingo Cove Car Wash since DAY 1, and he enjoys the opportunities for learning, growth, and achieving personal goals. Joey specializes in Customer Service, and he brings a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to the team, thanks to his unique background.

When he’s not at work, Joey loves spending time with his family and nephews. He’s also fascinated by Norse mythology and enjoys learning more about it in his free time.

Joey believes that customer service is critical because it’s the first impression that can make or break a customer’s experience. His favorite part of the job is the final polish, where the vehicle truly shines.

He’s motivated by the people in his life and strives to do his best for them. Erminio Arocha has been the Rover Lead at Flamingo Cove Car Wash since DAY 1. What he enjoys most about his job is seeing the customers’ reactions after their cars are transformed. His expertise lies in detailing and windshield cleaning, and his keen eye for detail ensures that every vehicle gets the perfect finish.

When he’s not at work, Erminio enjoys basketball, video games, and game nights, especially on Saturday nights. Spending time with family and friends is also a big part of his life.

Erminio believes that customer service is key to success: “Treat the customer right, and they will treat you right.” His favorite service is windshield cleaning because a clean windshield ensures better visibility and safety.

What she enjoys most about her role is being able to connect with customers and learn more about them during their visits.
